Urgent requirement: we are hiring a surface coating operator in Santa Cruz County, California. You will be based at an automotive components factory. Your main tasks: • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well • Stack and pack finished parts without scratching the coat • Hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage • Record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness • Top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process • Able to stand long shifts and lift parts up to 20 kg • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth Full-time with occasional weekends.
