MIG/MAG welder — Delaware County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Delaware County, New York. You will be based at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium On a typical shift you will tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. We offer $240 per day plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
