Heavy equipment operator (dozer) • Washington County, Maine

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator (dozer) in Washington County, Maine. You will be based on a quarry floor. Day to day you will form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily. What we are looking for: • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes 4+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $3,200 per month, based on your experience. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
