Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Rawlins County, Kansas. The job is in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. Requirements: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Valid driving licence for site call-outs On a typical shift you will measure rope tension and check for broken strands; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake.
