Shuttering and concrete hand • Yuma County, Arizona

Great opportunity: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Yuma County, Arizona. The role involves mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds 3+ years on the tools preferred. $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
