Your main tasks: • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting What we are looking for: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading 3+ years on the tools preferred.
