Immediate opening: mechanical press operator (New Mexico)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Sierra County, New Mexico. You will work in a metal fabrication workshop. You will clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; record output and downtime on the production sheet; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor. Requirements: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Pay around $26 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
