Safety inspector — Polk County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a safety inspector in Polk County, Tennessee. Day to day you will update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment. Ideal candidate: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training 5+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off.
