Reinforcement steel fixer wanted in Chippewa County

Now hiring: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Chippewa County, Minnesota. The job is at a precast concrete yard. The role involves: • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) Full-time with occasional weekends.
