Now hiring: we are hiring an ironing operator in Starke County, Indiana. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases You will set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press. 1+ years on the tools preferred. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
