Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas appliance installer in Woodford County, Illinois. You should have: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Driving licence for travel between sites Day to day you will check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant.
