Great opportunity: gas commissioning technician (Utah)

Join our team: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Kane County, Utah. You will be based at a busy gas installation company. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches The role involves: • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation Six days a week, one day off.
