Safety inspector wanted in Wapello County

Join our team: we are hiring a safety inspector in Wapello County, Iowa. The job is at a manufacturing plant. Day-to-day duties: • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry Requirements: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites 6+ years on the tools preferred. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
