Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Jackson County, Mississippi. You should have: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations Your main tasks: • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
