Lift maintenance fitter wanted in Dutchess County

Join our team: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Dutchess County, New York. You will be based at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. The role involves: • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators You should have: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
