Urgent requirement: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Scott County, Tennessee. The role involves: • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine Ideal candidate: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
