Day-to-day duties: • Repair and re-tape damaged wiring looms • Programme keys and reset immobilisers • Trace and fix short circuits and earthing faults • Service power windows, mirrors and wiper motors • Solder and heat-shrink wiring joints • Read and clear ECU fault codes You should have: • Good colour vision for identifying wire colours • Skilled with multimeter, test lamp and diagnostic scanner Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
