Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Talbot County, Georgia. You will work at a ready-mix concrete plant. You will load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours We offer $2,600 per month plus benefits.
