Join our team: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Gaston County, North Carolina. You will work at a high-rise construction project. The role involves assemble column and beam cages on the bench; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings. You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level Overtime paid at a premium rate.
