Tyre technician wanted in South Ayrshire

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tyre technician in South Ayrshire, Scotland. You will work in a commercial truck tyre depot. The role involves inflate tyres to the manufacturer's recommended PSI, including nitrogen fills; replace faulty valves and reset TPMS sensors; torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench; balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights; vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres. Requirements: • 1+ years' experience fitting and balancing tyres • A good eye for tread wear and sidewall damage • Comfortable working outdoors and in all weathers Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. £2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
