Shuttering fixer • Brown County, Nebraska

Immediate opening: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in Brown County, Nebraska. You will be based on a bridge and flyover project. Day-to-day duties: • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure Ideal candidate: • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $260 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
