Restoration bricklayer • Oceana County, Michigan

Join our team: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Oceana County, Michigan. You will be based at a groundworks and structures site. Ideal candidate: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets On the job you will handle: • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Pay around $2,500 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Share your details and we will call you back.
