We are recruiting: we are hiring a lifting rigger in City of Richmond, Virginia. The job is at a busy construction site. What we are looking for: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather Your main tasks: • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use Pay around $4,000 per month, based on your experience.
