Plant operator wanted in Shenandoah County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a plant operator in Shenandoah County, Virginia. You will be based at a landfill site. The role involves level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations; read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension. Requirements: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination We offer $250 per day plus benefits.
