Slinger signaller wanted in Ferry County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Ferry County, Washington. You will be based on an offshore oil and gas platform. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Your main tasks: • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
