CO2 welder wanted in Van Buren County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Van Buren County, Iowa. On a typical shift you will load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently 4+ years on the tools preferred.
