Structural MIG welder • Graves County, Kentucky

Now hiring: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Graves County, Kentucky. You will work in a heavy engineering unit. Your main tasks: • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing Ideal candidate: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Willing to work shifts and overtime At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
