Urgent requirement: we are hiring a dogger in Essex County, New York. You will be based at a shipyard. You will guide loads through tight openings into their final position; read lift plans and method statements before starting; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces 4+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts.
