Finishing plasterer wanted in Otsego County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a finishing plasterer in Otsego County, Michigan. The job is at a plastering and dry lining contractor. You should have: • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic On a typical shift you will skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration; fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads; apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat; set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work; patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster; apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. $140 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
