Steel fixer — Jones County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel fixer in Jones County, Texas. You will work at a high-rise construction project. You should have: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) The role involves: • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
