Great opportunity: rebar foreman (England)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rebar foreman in North East Lincolnshire, England. The role involves bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman. You should have: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire Part-time with flexible hours. £17 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
