Vacancy available: we are hiring a quality assurance assistant in Webster Parish, Louisiana. Requirements: • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade On a typical shift you will escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line; draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans; calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift; record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts.
