We are recruiting: we are hiring a sample machinist in Allamakee County, Iowa. You should have: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line Day-to-day duties: • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
