Spray painter (automotive) — Guthrie County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a spray painter (automotive) in Guthrie County, Iowa. On a typical shift you will bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint; apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun; apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels; mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code; prime and seal bare metal to stop rust; strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters. Ideal candidate: • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns • Able to read and match factory paint codes • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
