Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Washington County, Ohio. The job is in a heavy engineering unit. Requirements: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Day to day you will clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. $24 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Share your details and we will call you back.
