Immediate opening: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Gordon County, Georgia. What we are looking for: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Your main tasks: • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour 6+ years on the tools preferred.
