Immediate opening: framing carpenter (Tennessee)

Join our team: we are hiring a framing carpenter in Coffee County, Tennessee. The job is at a shopfitting company. You should have: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers The role involves: • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists $15 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
