Wood machinist — Blaenau Gwent

Vacancy available: we are hiring a wood machinist in Blaenau Gwent, Wales. You will work at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. Day-to-day duties: • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops You should have: • Own basic hand tools • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists 1+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around £2,150 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Contact us to fix an interview.
