Vertical milling machine operator wanted in Redcar and Cleveland

Now hiring: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Redcar and Cleveland, England. Day-to-day duties: • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters Ideal candidate: • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience Full-time, day shift.
