Tailor machinist wanted in Pope County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Pope County, Arkansas. You will be based at a knitwear stitching unit. What we are looking for: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens The role involves: • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching Part-time with flexible hours.
