Immediate opening: we are hiring a finishing presser in Clay County, Kansas. The job is at a dry cleaner's. Requirements: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases You will give each garment a final press before packing; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number.
