Great opportunity: fettler (Kansas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fettler in Riley County, Kansas. You will be based at a brass and bronze foundry. The role involves: • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale What we are looking for: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
