Rebar fixer • Cherokee County, Iowa

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Cherokee County, Iowa. The job is at a rebar fabrication workshop. The role involves bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
