Urgent requirement: we are hiring a powder coating line operator in Smith County, Mississippi. What we are looking for: • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting • Able to stand long shifts and lift parts up to 20 kg Day to day you will record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness; pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks; mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape; check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns; reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse; hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage.
