Join our team: we are hiring a scaffold fitter in Ellis County, Texas. You will work on a residential housing development. The role involves: • Install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts • Hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope • Fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform • Erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage • Handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner You should have: • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
