Now hiring: we are hiring a plant operator in Beauregard Parish, Louisiana. You will be based in a textile mill. Requirements: • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills The role involves run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing; report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches; change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
