Toolroom milling operator wanted in Christian County

Join our team: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Christian County, Illinois. The job is at an automotive components factory. Day-to-day duties: • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence You should have: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
