Rebar installer • Indian River County, Florida

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rebar installer in Indian River County, Florida. You will be based on a commercial tower construction site. On the job you will handle: • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules What we are looking for: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Part-time with flexible hours.
