Line cook • Saint Joseph County, Michigan

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a line cook in Saint Joseph County, Michigan. On a typical shift you will prepare the mise en place before each service; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations; follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes. Requirements: • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen Meals and transport allowance provided.
