Presser — East Ayrshire

Vacancy available: we are hiring a presser in East Ayrshire, Scotland. You will be based in a busy laundry. What we are looking for: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets On the job you will handle: • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Contact us to fix an interview.
